Get involved
The White Rose Forest is planting more trees than ever before thanks to the support of individuals, businesses and community groups across Yorkshire. If you live in West or North Yorkshire then the White Rose Forest is your local community forest and we are working for you and with many of you to plant trees that will benefit us all. By supporting the White Rose Forest you are also helping to grow the Northern Forest that will stretch from Merseyside to the Yorkshire coast.
As a partnership organisation, supported by all local authorities as well as many tree planting charities, businesses and community groups in Yorkshire, we are uniquely placed to help you get involved in tree planting in your local area, wherever you live in Yorkshire. Whether you would like to become a volunteer or make a donation, we can help you find a project to support in your local area.
Plant trees on your land

The White Rose Forest team is available to support landowners and their agents to develop tree planting and woodland creation projects across West and North Yorkshire. We can help you develop your project from an initial idea to the planting of well-designed, suitably funded new woodland.
Make a donation
You can help Yorkshire grow the White Rose Forest. All donations to the White Rose Forest will help us plant more trees.

Volunteer with the White Rose Forest

Help grow Yorkshire’s woodlands and support communities for generations to come.
Every volunteer plays a part in shaping a greener, healthier future for North and West Yorkshire. Whether you’re planting a young tree, caring for a new woodland, or lending a hand at a community event, you’re doing something powerful.
You don’t need experience, just enthusiam. Whether you join us for one session or come back throughout the season, your time and energy make a real and lasting difference.
Business supporters
Supporting the White Rose Forest through your business is a great way to give back to the community where your business operates. Your support will not only help improve the natural environment, but could also boost the local economy, increase staff morale and give you a really good news story.
