A gift to the White Rose Forest is a stand for nature, for communities, and every child who deserves to grow up breathing clean Yorkshire air and exploring thriving woodlands with safe, welcoming green spaces right on their doorstep.

All donations help us plant more trees where they are needed the most, improve habitats and connect more people with nature – one tree, one hedge, one community at a time.

Donate:

  • £5 puts tools in hands – help equip a community planting session, with gloves, spades, and wheelbarrows – giving volunteers of all ages the tools to grow tomorrow’s woodlands.
  • £10 nutures a young tree – support the planting and early care of a young tree – from roots to canopy – helping it thrive in the White Rose Forest for generations.
  • £25 grows a woodland edge – help create the rich, tangled edges of a woodland, where butterflies bask, birds nest and hedgehogs forage.
  • £50 plants an oak, and grows a wild world – support the planting of an oak tree, a living ecosystem that will shelter over 2,300 species of birds, mammals, fungi and insects.
  • £100 weaves a living hedgerow – help plant a stretch of native hedgerow, a green corridor for bats, birds and beetles and a lifeline for hedgehogs and dormice.
  • £250 slows the flow – protect a home by supporting tree planting in flood prone areas, helping to slow water run-off, reduce erosion and protect communities further downstream.
  • £500 creates a forest for the future – plant trees at an approved White Rose Forest planting site and leave a lasting legacy that will benefit the environment, nature and communities for many years to come.

All donations are processed securely via Kirklees Council and all money goes directly to support relevant White Rose Forest projects.
